Terms & Conditions

1. General

These Terms and Conditions apply to all sales supplied by Home Fix Plastics LTD (“the Company”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) through Home Fix Plastics LTD.

By placing an order with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

All goods supplied by the Company are referred to as “the Goods”.

2. Delivery

2.1 Delivery Times

Delivery times are estimates only and are typically between 1–5 working days from receipt of payment.

Some products may have extended lead times depending on stock availability, product type, colour, or manufacturer supply. If delivery times are critical, please contact us before placing your order.

We are not liable for delays caused by courier companies, suppliers, adverse weather conditions, or circumstances beyond our control.

2.2 Delivery Charges

Delivery charges are calculated at checkout. If an insufficient delivery charge has been selected or applied in error, we reserve the right to delay dispatch until the correct delivery payment has been received.

2.3 Delivery Access

Customers are responsible for ensuring safe and adequate access for delivery vehicles. Failed deliveries caused by restricted access or customer absence may incur additional delivery charges.

2.4 Checking Deliveries

All Goods must be inspected upon delivery before signing.

If any items are damaged, you must clearly sign the delivery note as:

“DAMAGED”

Failure to do so may invalidate any claim for replacement or refund. Signing “unchecked” does not constitute notification of damage.

Any shortages, damages, or incorrect items must be reported within 3 days of delivery.

2.5 Tradespeople & Installation

Customers are advised not to book tradespeople or installers until all Goods have been received and checked in full. Home Fix Plastics LTD accepts no liability for consequential losses, labour costs, or delays arising from damaged, delayed, or incorrect deliveries.

3. Product Information & Specifications

All product descriptions, images, sizes, specifications, and colours shown on our website, brochures, or quotations are approximate and intended as a guide only.

Minor differences in colour, finish, manufacturer branding, or packaging may occur.

Customers are responsible for checking all measurements and ensuring products are suitable for their intended use before ordering.

4. Cut-to-Size Products

Custom-cut products including polycarbonate, acrylic sheets, trims, or made-to-order items are non-returnable unless faulty.

Cutting Tolerances

  • Polycarbonate sheets: ±5mm
  • Acrylic / solid polycarbonate under 15mm thickness: ±5mm
  • Acrylic / solid polycarbonate 15mm and over: up to 10% tolerance

5. Payment

Payment must be made in full before Goods are dispatched unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Time of payment is of the essence.

We reserve the right to charge interest on overdue accounts at 2.5% per month.

Orders for bespoke or special-order items cannot be cancelled once processing or manufacturing has commenced.

6. Pricing

Prices are subject to change without notice.

The applicable price will be the price displayed at the time the order is placed.

All prices include VAT where applicable.

Delivery charges may apply in addition to product pricing.

7. Ownership of Goods

Ownership of the Goods remains with Home Fix Plastics LTD until full payment has been received.

Risk in the Goods passes to the customer upon delivery.

8. Returns & Refunds

8.1 Faulty or Incorrect Goods

If Goods are faulty, damaged, or incorrect, we will offer a replacement, repair, or refund in accordance with your statutory rights.

Claims must be reported within 3 days of delivery where applicable.

8.2 Change of Mind Returns

Unused standard stock items may be returned within 14 days of delivery, provided they are:

  • unused,
  • in original packaging,
  • and in resalable condition.

Customers are responsible for return carriage costs unless the Goods are faulty or supplied incorrectly.

8.3 Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned unless faulty:

  • Cut-to-size products
  • Made-to-order items
  • Special-order products
  • Custom fabricated materials

8.4 Refund Processing

Refunds will be processed once returned Goods have been inspected and approved.

We reserve the right to deduct costs for damaged or used items returned unsuitable for resale.

9. Guarantee & Liability

Where applicable, manufacturer warranties will apply to Goods supplied.

Home Fix Plastics LTD shall not be liable for:

  • incorrect installation,
  • misuse,
  • normal wear and tear,
  • consequential losses,
  • labour costs,
  • or indirect damages.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence where such exclusion is prohibited by law.

10. Website Use

By using our website, you agree not to:

  • misuse the website,
  • attempt unauthorised access,
  • upload malicious software,
  • or use content without permission.

We reserve the right to suspend or restrict access where misuse is identified.

11. Website Accuracy

We make every reasonable effort to ensure website information is accurate and up to date, however errors may occasionally occur.

We reserve the right to amend product information, specifications, prices, and availability without notice.

12. Privacy

Any personal information supplied through our website will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable UK GDPR legislation.

13. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform obligations due to events beyond our reasonable control including but not limited to:

  • supplier shortages,
  • transport disruption,
  • strikes,
  • severe weather,
  • power failure,
  • or acts of God.

14. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales.
